Revanth Reddy’s Strong Remarks on Allu Arjun Sandhya Theatre Incident in Telangana Assembly
In today’s Telangana Assembly session, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made a series of bold and attention-grabbing statements regarding the recent Sandhya Theatre incident involving Allu Arjun. His comments targeted the actor directly, as well as the film industry as a whole, for their handling of the tragic event.

Revanth Reddy revealed that the police had specifically advised Allu Arjun not to visit Sandhya Theatre, but the actor disregarded their instructions and went ahead with the visit in an open-top car. “Despite police warnings, Allu Arjun chose to go to the theatre. As a result, a massive crowd gathered, creating a stampede situation. Tragically, a woman named Revathi lost her life, and her son is currently fighting for his life in the hospital. A life could have been saved, and a family could have been whole if Allu Arjun had simply followed the police’s advice, the Chief Minister said.
Reddy didn’t stop there—he also criticized the film industry for supporting Allu Arjun after the incident. When a cinema hero was arrested for inciting the stampede that caused the death of a mother, the entire film industry came together to welcome him as though he had lost a limb. Yet, not a single celebrity visited the hospital to console the grieving family who lost a mother, and whose son is battling for his life,” he remarked.

The Chief Minister further chastised Allu Arjun for his actions, stating, Allu Arjun could have at least shown some respect and remained inside his car instead of continuing with his roadshow while public chaos unfolded. Even after a life was lost, he still sought public attention, exiting the theatre in a manner designed for the cameras. Such actions, which show utter disregard for public safety, will always be met with consequences.
By bringing this issue to the forefront in the assembly, Revanth Reddy made it clear that he would not let the incident fade away easily. The gravity of the situation was highlighted by his strong comments, and he warned that serious repercussions would follow in the coming days.
