BSNL 4G Services Launching by June 2025
BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited), India’s state-owned telecommunications company, is gearing up to launch its long-awaited 4G services by June 2025. This move is part of BSNL’s ambitious plan to modernize its network infrastructure and compete with private telecom giants like Jio, Airtel, and Vi (Vodafone Idea), who have already established 4G networks across the country.
Road Map :
The rollout of BSNL’s 4G services comes after years of delay, but the company has now committed to upgrading its infrastructure with state-of-the-art technology. BSNL has already started the process of procuring 4G equipment and testing its network in select regions. The government’s support, including funding under the National Monetization Pipeline (NMP), has given BSNL the much-needed financial backing to launch its services in phases.
BSNL 4G services will be available across major cities initially, followed by a broader expansion to rural areas. The network upgrade will provide better coverage, higher data speeds, and improved call quality, which has been a significant pain point for BSNL subscribers in recent years. Additionally, the 4G rollout will pave the way for BSNL to offer more competitive data plans and advanced services such as VoLTE (Voice over LTE) and high-speed internet for both urban and rural users.
The company is also planning to introduce new devices and affordable smartphones in collaboration with local manufacturers, making the transition to 4G accessible for a wider demographic. This move is expected to improve BSNL’s subscriber base and help the company regain its lost market share.
BSNL’s 4G launch by June 2025 is eagerly awaited by its users, who have long been anticipating an upgrade to faster, more reliable network services. As the company moves forward with this major milestone, it is expected to have a significant impact on the Indian telecom industry, offering users more choices and enhanced connectivity.
